Система охлаждения

Прошу совета:
когда я включаю-выключаю горячий воздух из печки, то что я открываю-закрываю: воздушную заслонку, направляющую поток воздуха через печку или перекрываю шланг, проводящий воду к печке. Если вариант 2, то есть ли там термостат?
